Job Description
Part of the newly formed Chalk Nursery Group, Red Bus Nursery & Preschool at Flax Bourton is dedicated to providing a fun, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children up to the age of 5. Our mission is to ensure that every child is happy while developing essential physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills under the care of our professional team
An experienced Nursery Assistant is required to work full-time, 40 hours across Monday to Friday and we are open all year round (not a term time nursery)
Summary
We are seeking a passionate Nursery Assistants to join our team and support the delivery of our carefully designed curriculum and help create an engaging environment where children can thrive. Your contributions will be vital in fostering a love for learning and ensuring each child's individual needs are met.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and implementing educational activities that promote children's development. Support the lead teacher in managing daily classroom activities and routines. Engage with children in both indoor and outdoor settings to enhance their learning experiences. Monitor and document each child's progress and development. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
Essential Requirements
Experience of working in a nursery environment or a similar role Experience of working as part of a team Can demonstrate a rapport with suitably aged children. Good communication skills. Knowledge of EYFS Foundation Stage. Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection Knowledge of H&S
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: Up to 12.25 per hour
