Job Description

The Grove Nursery are looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual to join our Nursery Team from 1st January 2026 until 31st August 2026. On the job training will be offered. Experience is desirable but not essential. There is a possibility that this role may be extended into the new academic year.

Our nursery is part of the Grove Primary School. The position is term time only, Monday to Friday 8.45am -3.15pm. Sounds too good to be true, right?

The Grove Nursery opened in September 2023 when the school took over the running of the previous Rainbow Playgroup. During this time, the nursery has gone from strength to strength both in numbers and educational quality. In November 2023, OFSTED noted the strengths in our Early Years and the quality of the education provided. In September 2024, the nursery, known as Cygnets Class, moved into the main school in order to provide an enhanced learning environment for all the pupils.

The vision for the nursery, alongside the school, is that all our pupils belong to a happy, caring and inclusive community and become curious, confident and creative life-long learners. Our values are to be respectful, safe and ready. All pupils are welcome into our nursery and we prioritise those who live in are our local area.

Pay: From 25,185.00 per year
