We are seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Assistant to join our early childhood education team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within our nursery environment. Duties

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support the delivery of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment Help implement educational programmes aligned with early childhood education principles Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships Support behavioural management strategies to encourage positive social interactions Contribute to record keeping related to children's progress and daily routines Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continually improve childcare practices

Qualifications

Experience with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable Knowledge of nursery procedures and early childhood education principles Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Childcare qualifications or relevant early childhood education certifications are advantageous A caring attitude, patience, and excellent organisational skills are essential for success in this role

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months

Pay: 12.21 per hour
