Nursery: Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary: \xc2\xa311.98 - \xc2\xa312.19 per hour (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location: Coulsdon, London

We are looking for a part-time, passionate Nursery Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Coulsdon.

Our Bright Horizons Coulsdon Day Nursery and Preschool is Ofsted rated \xe2\x80\x98Good\xe2\x80\x99, and is situated just off Chipstead Valley road and within easy walking from Coulsdon Town and Coulsdon South, train stations.

The nursery is based in a beautiful large setting, benefiting from a dedicated sensory area and stunning outdoor garden complete with a cycling track, undercover studio and sandpit!

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

• Working as part of a nursey team looking after babies and children up to the age of 5.
• Having daily adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading and helping them with their curious minds through the learning curriculum
• Communicating with parents daily on their child\xe2\x80\x99s activities
• Provide a caring and supporting environment where the children feel safe and looked after

• Supporting colleagues encourage the children\xe2\x80\x99s development towards key milestones
• Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential - Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
