We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily activities within the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the attention and care they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's learning and development. Provide high-quality care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth. Support the lead nursery staff in managing daily routines and maintaining an organised environment. Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery space, ensuring it is welcoming for children and families.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable. childcare level 3 or working towards Strong communication skills in English are essential for interacting with children, parents, and team members. Leadership qualities are beneficial for managing small groups of children during activities. A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges within a dynamic environment is crucial
