The successful candidate will be joining a highly motivated and friendly team, they will benefit from the knowledge, guidance, training & support of the Proprietor, Manager and other staff members

This position is for our Baby Room (3mths-24mths)

Days to be agreed but between, Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm (one hour unpaid lunch Break)

We are open all year round except for Bank Holidays & a weeks break at Christmas.

Purpose of the job

To provide the highest level of care for children attending the nursery

To ensure the needs of each child are identified and met

To provide positive working relations with children, staff and parents

To assist with the planning and delivery of the EYFS,

To take charge of a key group of children

To help set up & put away activities

To help with the daily cleaning routine

To liaise with other staff and parents

Possibly some Supervisory Role for the right candidate

The successful candidate must

Be well presented, friendly, flexible & in good health, with a good sense of humour

Be willing to learn

Be a good communicator

Have the ability to produce and keep records

ESSENTIAL ;- Experience & Qualifications

MUST BE AT LEAST EQUIVILENT OF NVQ LEVEL THREE IN CHILDCARE

Will be required to undertake a DBS check

A good knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted expectations

Not Essential ;- But Desirable and Advantageous.

Have previous experience in a Childrens Nursey with Babies & Toddlers

Paediatric first aid certificate

Food hygiene

Knowledge of the use of Tapestry

Knowledge of 'In The Moment Planning'

Full onsite training will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
