About the Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you'll work alongside our experienced team to provide warm, consistent care throughout the nursery day. You'll be involved in all aspects of daily routines, play, learning, and personal care -- helping us create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for every child.

This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in early years education or for those who prefer a long-term support role without a qualification pathway.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting children during play, mealtimes, and rest Assisting with care routines such as handwashing, changing, and feeding Helping set up and tidy learning environments Building positive relationships with children and colleagues Attending training and staff meetings Supporting learning experiences planned by the team Always promoting a safe and high-quality environment

What We're Looking For

A kind, patient, and helpful nature Reliability, good timekeeping, and a positive attitude Ability to follow guidance and work as part of a team Enthusiasm for working with young children Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to join) SSSC registration (or willingness to register)
