Fairytales nursery are seeking a nurturing and special individual to work on a 1:1 basis supporting children with additional needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with SEN children and be passionate about providing the highest standard of care to our children.
About the Nursery Assistant role:
Salary:
We pay higher than most, up to 12.30 per hour!
Hours:
We have two different contracts available:
1 x 10 hours per week
1 x 15 hours per week
OR
an individual looking to merge both of these and do
25 hours
per week. Varied hours including mornings, afternoons, longer days - these are negotiable for the right candidate

Roles and Responsibilities for the Nursery Assistant:
Supporting SEN children on a 1:1 basis, ensuring their needs are met and they are supported during daily routines and activity times
Completing and following individual development plans and planning activities to support the child's learning
Working in partnership with the nursery SENCO and outside agencies

Requirements for the Nursery Assistant role:
Must hold a minimum full and relevant level 2 Early Years qualification
Have exceptional understanding of safeguarding
Previous SEN experience is desirable
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
