Are you an experienced, enthusiastic, and creative early years professional looking for your next opportunity?

Helston Day Nursery, part of Helston Community College, are looking for a passionate Nursery Assistant to join our warm, supportive, and dedicated team from January 2026

At our well-established nursery, we pride ourselves on creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Our experienced team works closely with families to ensure every child enjoys a rich, varied, and meaningful early years' experience.

What You'll Do:

Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for children aged 0 - 5;Plan and deliver fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities;

Support children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development;

Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support each child's unique journey;

Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment

We would love to hear from you if you:

Hold a recognised Early Years and Childcare qualification [or equivalent] / Level 2 or above

Are creative, motivated, and genuinely passionate about working with children;

Have experience in early years settings and understand the importance of play-based learning;

Are a great communicator and team player;

Have an interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20,994.00 per year

Expected hours: 34 per week
