We are looking for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join our dedicated staff team.
The Early Years Practitioner works as part of the nursery team to provide excellent care, education, and support for young children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and holistic development. The role involves contributing to engaging and age?appropriate learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), observing and recording children's progress, and building positive, nurturing relationships that promote communication, independence, and self?esteem. A strong commitment to safeguarding, high?quality interaction, and modelling positive behaviour is essential.
The postholder collaborates closely with colleagues to maintain a cohesive, professional Early Years environment, participating in planning, meetings, and training as required. They help create and sustain a clean, stimulating learning space, support daily routines including meals and outdoor activities, and ensure all resources are safe and inviting. The role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification, experience with nursery?aged children, strong communication skills, and a warm, flexible, and proactive approach. First Aid, safeguarding training, and experience in high?quality or independent settings are desirable.
