Summary

We are seeking a Nursery Assistant to join our team at Lilliput Montessori Day Nurseries in Coalville. This vital role involves supporting the development and well-being of young children, helping us deliver outstanding early childhood education aligned with our core values of care and learning.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating a safe, welcoming environment for children. Support children's daily activities and learning experiences. Work closely with qualified staff to implement educational programs. Promote positive behavior and social skills among children. Help maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the nursery. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members. Support children with special educational needs and disabilities. Contribute to the overall development of each child in your care. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting. Knowledge of special education needs and working with children with disabilities. Excellent communication skills. Compassionate, patient, and nurturing attitude. Ability to work as part of a team. Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare)- is preferred but not require. Experience supporting children with autism is desirable. Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
