Job Description
This position would be ideal for somebody wishing to make a difference in the lives of children. Although no qualifications in childcare are needed, this position would idealy suit somebody wishing to complete their Level 3 qualification in childcare.
Summary
Due to an increase in occupancy, we are seeking a passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at Little Buttons Day Nursery in Cockernhoe. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering a safe and engaging atmosphere for our children, supporting their growth and development while embodying our commitment to quality childcare."
Responsibilities
"
Assist in the daily care and supervision of children aged 0-5 years.
Create a warm and welcoming environment that encourages learning and exploration. Support children's developmental needs through play-based activities. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the highest standards of care. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery setting. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress. Participate in training and professional development opportunities. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times."
Qualifications
"
Previous experience working with young children is preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Basic math skills for record-keeping purposes. Ability to perform light physical tasks, including some heavy lifting as needed. A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development."
