Assistant Manager opportunity has arisen at Little Rainbows Academy, we are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, dynamic committed individual to assist the manager in managing the nursery on a day-to-day basis , supporting our dedicated team and providing a learning and caring environment for children aged between 3 months and 12 years.

Potential candidate must have experience working in a management role, have knowledge of the EYFS with the ability to support and develop the staff team to provide high quality education and care to all children.

The successful candidate will have a passion for childcare, a pro-active mindset, an enthusiastic approach who can be a positive influence on the staff team. They must have the ability to be a positive role model, lead a team and to form strong, supportive relationships with the parents and children.

The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a focus on learning through play that actively encourages parents to become involved. We offer full time and part time places for children aged between 0 and 5 years.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities as Assistant Manager will include:

Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues

Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times

Company policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to at all times

Delivery of EYFS, planning and observations of all children

Qualifications/Experience:

Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent

Leadership and management experience, in a childcare setting.

Leading a staff team, including supervision, work allocation, assessment or training and professional development.

A thorough knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements and relevant current legislation.

Understanding of child protection processes, safeguarding, and working with vulnerable children.
