Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to join our existing management team that oversees our 2 settings in Grantham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage staff effectively, and a drive to enhance the overall quality of childcare services.

Hours of work will be discussed with each candidate. Our aim is to achieve the correct work life balance from our team, whilst meeting the needs of the business. 30-40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's development and learning. Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their children's progress and addressing any concerns. Maintain accurate records of children's activities, attendance, and developmental milestones. Ensure the nursery is a safe and clean environment for children, staff, and visitors. Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance skills in early childhood education and childcare practices.

Skills

Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Proven experience in managing a nursery or similar childcare setting. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development. Ability to communicate clearly in English with children, parents, and staff members. Experience working with children in various age groups. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development.

Pay: 22,908.93-29,000.00 per year
