Sapphire Rey Childcare Crew are delighted to be supporting a well-established nursery in High Wycombe who are seeking a dedicated and confident Nursery Assistant Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional looking to step into a senior leadership role within a supportive and welcoming setting.

About the Nursery

The nursery is a friendly, community-focused early years setting that provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children. The team are committed to delivering high-quality education and care, building strong relationships with families, and supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.

The Role

The successful Nursery Assistant Manager will:

Support the Nursery Manager with day-to-day leadership and operations across the setting Lead and role-model high standards of early years practice Uphold safeguarding, health and safety and compliance standards at all times Support staff supervision, mentoring, training and team morale Assist with staffing, rotas and general administrative duties Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring excellent communication Contribute to curriculum planning and ensure engaging learning environments Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence

Requirements

Level 3 Early Years qualification or above (essential) Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner, Deputy or similar Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team Warm, approachable and professional manner Strong organisational and communication skills

Pay: 30,000.00-32,500.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

High Wycombe HP13: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

L3 Childcare qualification or above (preferred)
