Cringleford Crackerjacks is looking for a Nursery Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly team.

A few months ago, we expanded our early years provision in Cringleford with the opening of a brand-new Nursery. Due to the success of this new Nursery, we now need a new Nursery Assistant to join our amazing team. This is your opportunity to be part of that team and help us shape the future of Crackerjacks.

Ideally, you will have recent experience of working with children aged 2-4 years and a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum but we are happy to provide training for the right candidate. You will either hold a Level 2 childcare qualification or be willing to study for one. Successful candidates will be reliable and have an enthusiastic approach to working with children. They will also need to have excellent communication and organisational skills.

Crackerjacks Nursery is located at the Jubilee Centre in St Giles Park, Cringleford close to the A11 /A47 Thickthorn Interchange. It's a 10-minute drive from Norwich city centre and there are regular buses from central Norwich which makes it is an easy commute.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and provide evidence of their eligibility to work in the UK.

Hours of work:

Part time - 30 hours a week with the possibility of extra ad hoc sessions

Term time plus the option for ad hoc sessions during holiday

Monday - 9.00 am to 6.00 pm

Tuesday - 9.00 am to 3.00 pm

Wednesday - 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm

Thursday - 12.00 pm to 6.00 pm

Friday - 9.00 am to 3.00 pm

Start date - September 2025

Closing date 22/07/25

Pay: 12.21-12.99 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
