We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. Duties
Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery setting.
Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery environment, ensuring it is safe and welcoming for all children.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring each child's needs are met.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem through supportive interactions.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.
Requirements
Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and parents.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised environment.
Leadership qualities that inspire trust and confidence among children and colleagues alike.
A valid driving licence may be beneficial for transporting materials or attending off-site activities.
