Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team level 2 or 3 an advantage, would consider unqualified if has previous experience working in a childcare setting.The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a commitment to fostering their development in a nurturing environment. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and a genuine interest in early childhood education, we are a pack away setting so must be fit in body and mind.

Duties

Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery setting. Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained. Help manage children's behaviour in a positive manner, promoting social skills and emotional development. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children is essential; nursery experience is highly desirable. A background in early childhood education or childcare is preferred. Strong management and leadership skills to support team dynamics. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. A valid driving licence may be advantageous for transportation purposes. A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their growth and development.
