Job Description

We require a qualified (level 3) Nursery Assistant, to join a small, friendly team in our on -site Pre-school, 'Bluecoat Nursery', at Christ's Hospital school.

The successful candidate will work an average of 16 hours per week, plus additional (paid) hours for termly staff meetings, parents' evenings and planning meetings. The post is during state term time only, with possibility of some work during school holidays. The position will require the applicant to start in the morning at 8:30am when our nursery opens, will include duties to be undertaken within the Nursery. The work includes welcoming children on their arrival, teaching children from 2-5 years, assisting with the planning of the curriculum, liaising with parents and carers.

Flexibility, good communication skills and the confidence to work with children are essential.
