programme, our very own Forest School experience, where children learn and play in the great outdoors. We actively encourage our team to take part in Forest School training and develop their skills in outdoor learning, helping to inspire children's curiosity, confidence, and love for nature.
Requirements:
A genuine love for working with children and helping them learn through play
A positive, can-do attitude and a sense of fun, no two days are ever the same!
An understanding of (or willingness to learn about) the EYFS framework
Creativity and enthusiasm to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
A caring, patient nature and excellent communication skills
The ability to work as part of a friendly, supportive team
Reliability, a good sense of humour, and a willingness to get a bit messy with paint, mud, or glitter!
Previous experience in an early years setting or a relevant qualification (desired but not essential, training provided)
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive environment
Maintain a clean and organized nursery space, adhering to health and safety regulations
Support and mentor junior staff, demonstrating leadership skills when necessary
