Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's development and learning. Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Support children in their daily routines, including meals, nappy changing, and personal hygiene. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional development. Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere focused on child development.

Experience

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare, with the ability to engage effectively with young children.
