We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development and well-being.
Duties
Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery setting.
Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for children to play and learn.
Collaborate with other staff members to manage classroom behaviour and ensure a harmonious atmosphere.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in childcare.
Skills
Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership qualities to guide and support young learners effectively.
A proactive drive to create engaging learning experiences for children.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles is an advantage.
A genuine passion for childcare and fostering children's development.
