Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment. As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring that each child receives the highest standard of care and early childhood education.

Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's development in all areas. Provide high-quality childcare, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Support children's learning through play, encouraging their curiosity and creativity. Help manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play. Maintain a clean and organised environment that meets health and safety standards. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere.

Experience

Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred. A background in Early Childhood Education or related qualifications is advantageous. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small groups of children effectively. Proficiency in English is essential for communication with children and parents. A genuine love for working with children and an understanding of their developmental needs.

Pay: 10.00-13.00 per hour
