Bexley Snap are a Charity (number 1167151) providing exciting, challenging and inclusive play and activity sessions for disabled children and young people. We are launching a brand new small Nursery provision in November 2025 and are looking for enthusiastic, supportive and caring Nursery Assistants to join our team. The setting is for children aged 2 to 4 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with children to support their play, learning, and daily routines in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. You'll also be a valued part of a supportive team that believes every child deserves the chance to thrive and shine in their own way.
Essential requirements for post holder:
Skills:
Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent understanding of the EYFS framework, particularly with disability support.Personal Qualities:
Empathetic, patient, and committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child is valued and supported.Experience
: working with young children, particularly those with disabilities or additional needs. Willingness to undertake further training (e.g., first aid, manual handling, communication methods).Qualifications
: Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (or working towards it).Skills
: Strong communication and teamwork skills. Basic understanding of child development and safeguarding principles.Personal Qualities
