We have an immediate opportunity to join our team as a "Butterfly" (Bank) covering staff holidays and training.

About the Role

As a Butterfly you would be required to work alongside our key staff to provide high quality childcare and teaching. You should be flexible with the age range you work with and the days and hours you work. We are seeking an enthusiastic team player who can adapt to change with a positive "can do" attitude. You will have regard for safeguarding at all times and report into senior staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supervising play-based activities to support learning and development. Observing and assessing children's progress, helping to keep accurate records. Preparing snacks and mealtimes, ensuring a clean and safe environment. Communicating effectively with team members, parents and guardians. Enjoying outdoor play, outings, and embracing creative and messy activities!

Qualifications & Experience

Level 2 or above

childcare qualification (Level 3 training opportunities available). Knowledge of the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

is desirable. Previous experience in a similar childcare role is required A childcare qualification is

preferred,

but experience working with children would be considered

Working Hours

Nursery/Childcare experience (1+ year preferred).

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37 per week
