Overview

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Bank Staff to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for working with children and possess the necessary skills to provide high-quality childcare in a nurturing environment. As a Nursery Bank Staff member, you will support our permanent staff by filling in as needed, ensuring that every child receives the attention and care they deserve.

Duties

Assist in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children. Engage with children in play and educational activities, promoting their development and learning. Support the implementation of early childhood education programmes tailored to individual children's needs. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being. Collaborate with team members to plan and organise activities that enhance children's social, emotional, and physical development. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery procedures. Provide leadership and management support when required, helping to guide less experienced staff members.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and motivate others within the team. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations if necessary. A genuine passion for childcare, along with patience and empathy towards children's needs, is crucial for success in this role.
