Overview


We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Nursery Bank Staff to join our childcare team on a flexible basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in early childhood education and childcare management, supporting the daily needs of children in a nurturing environment. The position is suitable for individuals with a genuine interest in child development and a desire to contribute positively to young children's lives. Duties



Assist in supervising and engaging with children in the nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support the delivery of age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and socialisation Help maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment for children Collaborate with permanent staff to implement daily routines and programmes Provide support during meal times, play sessions, and rest periods as required Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and communication with parents or guardians Support management in implementing policies related to health, safety, and child protection standards Occasionally undertake driving duties to transport children or supplies when necessary

Requirements



Experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood education setting is highly desirable Demonstrated management and leadership skills in childcare environments Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal Knowledge of childcare practices, child development, and early childhood education principles Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required Valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties Passionate about supporting children's growth and development with a caring attitude Organised, reliable, and able to adapt to changing priorities within a busy nursery environment

Pay: 12.80 per hour

Expected hours: 3 - 25 per week
