We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Bank Staff to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery setting. As a Nursery Bank Staff member, you will work flexibly to support the nursery during busy periods, ensuring that all children receive the attention and care they deserve. Your experience with children and early childhood education will be invaluable in creating a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children. Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Support the daily routines of the nursery, including meal times, playtime, and rest periods. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the nursery. Observe and record children's progress and development as required. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding towards children's needs. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
