Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Bank Staff to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality childcare and supporting the daily operations of our nursery. As a member of our bank staff, you will have the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, filling in for regular staff and ensuring that children receive the best possible care and education.

Candidates should be level 2 or 3 qualified and have a valid childcare qualification

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Supervise and engage with children in various activities, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive atmosphere. Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational programmes that align with early childhood education standards. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting. Drive initiatives that support children's learning through play and exploration. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of care are consistently met.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and fellow staff members. Proficient in English to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in managing a nursery environment or similar childcare setting. Background in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences. Previous experience working with children is essential.
