Job Summary

We are seeking a flexible dedicated and passionate Practitioner to join our nurturing environment on a Bank staff basis, some set hours will be offered when they become available. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a nursery/ childminding environment with children aged 9 months - 4 years. You will demonstrate the ability to support the development of infants and young children. This role requires effective communication skills and a drive to create a safe and stimulating atmosphere for children. We are open for 48 weeks of the year.

Duties

Provide high-quality care for children in the nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Work collaboratively with other practitioners to maintain a harmonious environment within the nursery. Assist with daily routines, including feeding, changing, and nap times, ensuring each child's individual needs are met. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Experience of working in a nursery/ childminding setting is essential and working with children aged 9 months to 4 years is desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour. Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in early years is required A proactive approach with a drive to continuously improve practices within the nursery setting.
