Job Description

We are a dedicated nutrition-led nursery focused on providing children with nourishing meals that support their development and well-being. We believe in the importance of healthy eating habits from an early age and aim to deliver tasty, nutritious, and balanced meals that children will enjoy. Our goal is to create an environment where good nutrition and education come together, and we are looking for a passionate, experienced chef to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook balanced, healthy meals tailored to the specific nutritional needs of
children.

Plan and create Seasonal menus that incorporate a variety of seasonal, fresh, and
organic ingredients.

Ensure food allergies and dietary restrictions are strictly adhered to and clearly
communicated.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in compliance with food
safety and hygiene regulations.

Manage stock levels, order ingredients, and minimize food waste. Work closely with staff to ensure the smooth running of meal services and address
any dietary concerns or preferences.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a nursery, school, or health-focused
environment.

Passionate about children's health and nutrition. Knowledge of dietary requirements and food allergies. Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management. Creative and able to prepare nutritious meals that children will enjoy. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A professional qualification in catering or nutrition (preferred but not essential).
