We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with a flair for creativity and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in overseeing food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading a team of kitchen staff to create delicious and visually appealing dishes.
Responsibilities
Ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production.
Preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Develop new menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Implement cost control measures while maintaining the quality of food served.
Highly knowlwdgeable in allergen awareness.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within the industry.
Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes.
