We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating exceptional dishes. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met
Manage food safety protocols, including hygiene standards and proper storage procedures
Coordinate with suppliers for ingredient procurement and inventory management
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills and knowledge
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Assist in menu planning and development to introduce innovative culinary offerings
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment
Serve dishes to guests when required, providing excellent customer service
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
Supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant setting is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively and motivate staff members
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and HACCP procedures
Experience in food production, menu development, and hospitality operations
Previous restaurant experience that highlights leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment
Competence in serving guests professionally while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
