Capable Chef sought for nursery school in Central London - EC1V
Newpark Childcare is looking for a capable chef to join the team at our beautiful Nursery in Clerkenwell. The right candidate will be able to produce healthy meals & snacks for young children and babies. You must be able to maintain the kitchen environment to a high standard while adhering to good Food Safety practice, and keep essential records. Good communication skills are essential. A current Level 2 Food Safety Certificate is an advantage, however training will be provided.
Previous nursery experience or experience of cooking for children would be a strong bonus.
Hours: Five days a week - 9.00am to 5.00pm

The ideal candidate will have:
Experience cooking for children under 5 -
Essential
Fluent English -
Essential
Prepared to complete a DBS check and provide written references
Commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
Willingness to work within company procedures and to meet required standards for the role
A flexible approach
Support diversity, equality and inclusion
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An ability to work in partnership with other staff members
Be naturally warm and respectful towards children & their needs
