Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chef/ Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary services, demonstrating excellent leadership and team management skills. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our facilities while ensuring a high standard of food safety and preparation. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for both staff and parents.

Duties

Oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. Preparing nutritious meals in line with our safer foods procedures. Manage kitchen cleanliness, ensuring all utensils and equipment are properly sanitised. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and kitchen ingredients, placing orders as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or improvement. Provide exceptional hospitality to guests, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience cooking in a similar setting. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production and preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen environments. Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, capable of interacting positively with staff and guests alike.
