We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to provide nutritious food for children aged 0-5 years. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food safety and kitchen operations. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences while managing kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food production.
Responsibilities
Lead kitchen to ensure efficient food production and service.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Prepare and cook dishes to ensure quality and consistency.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs effectively.
Assist in the planning of special events and catering services as required.
Manage dietary requirements and allergies safely
Have knowledge on the requirements of food preparation and safety for children under 5 years
Skills
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Proficient in culinary techniques with a passion for cooking and food presentation.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in food production processes to maintain quality standards.
Working Hours
- 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to 31,500.00 per year
