A welcoming and inclusive primary school in North Somerset is looking to appoint a caring and committed Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their early years team starting this September. This is a part-time role supporting our nursery-aged children in a nurturing environment built on strong community values and high expectations.

About the Role:

You'll work closely with the Nursery Lead and EYFS team to support children in their early development, ensuring they receive high-quality care and stimulating play-based learning opportunities in line with the EYFS statutory framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Support children's learning and development through play and guided activities Ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment Assist with behaviour support and classroom organisation Work collaboratively with the wider school team Help meet regulatory and safeguarding requirements

An experienced Early Years Practitioner with a passion for child development Someone who understands and implements the EYFS framework effectively A flexible and proactive team player with strong communication skills A commitment to the wider life of the school and its values Willingness to support and promote the Christian ethos of the school

Requirements:

Essential:

Previous Nursery or Early Years experience

Desirable:

Experience working with children with SEN
