A welcoming and inclusive primary school in North Somerset is looking to appoint a caring and committed Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their early years team starting this September. This is a part-time role supporting our nursery-aged children in a nurturing environment built on strong community values and high expectations.
About the Role:
You'll work closely with the Nursery Lead and EYFS team to support children in their early development, ensuring they receive high-quality care and stimulating play-based learning opportunities in line with the EYFS statutory framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children's learning and development through play and guided activities
Ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment
Assist with behaviour support and classroom organisation
Work collaboratively with the wider school team
Help meet regulatory and safeguarding requirements
We're Looking For:
An experienced Early Years Practitioner with a passion for child development
Someone who understands and implements the EYFS framework effectively
A flexible and proactive team player with strong communication skills

Essential:
Previous Nursery or Early Years experience
Desirable:
Experience working with children with SEN
