Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the nursery.

This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including play rooms, office, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture and fixtures. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness and safety. Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of hygiene. Ensure all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and replenished as necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving items. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is an advantage.
