Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various environments, ensuring that spaces are welcoming and well-presented.

Responsibilities



Clean and sanitise all areas of the nursery, including individual learning areas, staffrooms, kitchen, hallways, and toilets. Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces by dusting, mopping, and vacuuming regularly. Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored. Follow health and safety protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of children and staff. Disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and toys. Assist with waste disposal and ensure the proper segregation of recyclable materials. Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.

Skills

Previous cleaning experience preferred, ideally in a childcare or educational setting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining cleanliness. Good understanding of health and safety standards. Friendly, trustworthy, and reliable.
