Role Overview

Lane&Co Cleaning is seeking a reliable, trustworthy cleaner to carry out regular cleaning services at a nursery and preschool setting. This role requires a high level of responsibility, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently in a childcare environment.

Hours of Work

3 hours every Tuesday

3 hours every Thursday

6 hours per week

Set, consistent hours

Key Responsibilities

Carry out a thorough clean of the nursery premises, including: 4 main rooms 1 kitchen area 6 toilet areas Hallways, stairways, and surrounding spaces Clean all surfaces, floors, touchpoints, and empty bins Maintain high hygiene standards suitable for a nursery environment Follow all health & safety and safeguarding procedures Use cleaning products provided by the nursery in line with guidance

Open and unlock the nursery at the start of the shift

Secure and lock the premises on completion of each clean

Work confidently and responsibly

alone on-site

Report any concerns, damages, or issues promptly to Lane&Co Cleaning

Confidentiality & Trust

Maintain

strict confidentiality

regarding the nursery, staff, children, and any information observed on-site Respect the sensitive nature of the childcare environment at all times Act professionally and responsibly when given access to keys/alarm systems

Essential Requirements

Enhanced DBS check

(or willingness to obtain one) Previous cleaning experience (commercial or domestic preferred) Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Trustworthy, punctual, and reliable Comfortable holding keys and being responsible for opening and locking the premises Good attention to detail

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience cleaning nurseries, schools, or similar environments Knowledge of hygiene standards in childcare settings
