We are looking for a committed and passionate nursery cleaner to join our fabulous team. At AristoTots we pride ourselves on our commitment to our team members by providing a supportive and rewarding working environment. Our nursery cleaner will be required to have an attention to detail and be able to work independently. Our cleaner will need to work 2 hours per day, Monday-Friday between the hours of 5.30pm-9pm (we can flexible with finish time but you can not start any earlier than 5.30pm).

Purpose of post

To provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery.

Key areas

Develop routines to ensure all areas of the nursery are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

Responsible to:

Nursery Manager/Deputy Manager

Main duties

Empty and wash out bins in all rooms Tidy, dust and disinfect staff room Tidy, dust and disinfect offices Tidy, dust and disinfect all nursery rooms Vacuum carpets Clean nursery toilets, staff toilets, all hand basins Clean all nursery touch points (door handles, light switches etc.) Wash floors in laundry, kitchen, bathroom and nursery Wipe around all surfaces in kitchen Clean the inside of the windows Keep a check on cleaning materials and re-order via the Manager Lock or unlock the building securely Undertake any other duties as may be required from time-to-time.
All roles are subject to safer recruitment procedures being followed and therefore will carry out a enhanced disclosure check (DBS check) and we will require atleast 2 employment references. You will have to prove your 'Right to Work in the UK' on interview.
