Job description 2 days per week/ Thursday and Friday, 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm, flexibilitiy with hours
We are hoping to find someone who could also cover 4 or 5 days per week over the Summer period before continuing with 2 days per week from September.

Cleaning all areas of the nursery including the children's toilets.
Cleaning the reception area, staff room and all children's areas.
Main purpose of job:
Make sure the allocated areas are clean and disinfected using suitable cleaning products. The cleaning needs to be carried out in the order as directed below.
Main tasks
Task Frequency
1 Clean (children's toilets, sinks, door handles, and any surfaces) to be completed before the floors are hoovered and mopped. Anti - bacterial spray needs to be used at all times.
2 Empty bins and discard rubbish in the correct external bins including recycling.
3 All floors must be hoovered before mopping.
4 Finish cleaning up the kitchen area, including washing up children's dishes after tea.
5 Use anti-viral spray on surfaces, toilets, touch points- leave it for 1 min and wipe it off
6 All floors must be mopped with hot water and the correct dilution of bleach. The water should be changed for each room. Different mops should be used for office, toilets and nursery.
7 Pull out shoe racks to clean underneath/behind them (Monthly)
8 Health and safety policies and procedures must be followed at all times. Complete daily checklist for cleaning the nursery
9 All touch points must be cleaned and anti viral spray applied and left to dry.
This includes: phones, door handles, tables, light switches although no liquid may be sprayed directly on to switch. Instead the anti-viral spray should be sprayed onto a clean soft cloth and then applied to switch, handle etc,
Toilets must be treated in the same manner as above.
Ie - spray anti viral onto the whole toilet area, including the floor in front of the toilet. Please note the toilets and floor must be cleaned thoroughly first. The anti viral spray must be left to dry naturally each day
Toilet brushes should be checked they are clean or advise if need replacement. Regularly
Mops for cleaning need to be replaced as needed
Staff room and office must be cleaned daily, including the fridges, touch points, etc.
Window ledges should be checked each week and be cleaned as needed, but no less than once a month.
Inform management for ordering any cleaning products, mops head, hoover bags and etc. as necessary
