Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and an eye for detail, contributing to the overall satisfaction of our clients.

Responsibilities

Develop a cleaning schedule to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is achieved in all areas of the nursery. Empty and wash out bins in all rooms Bag up and place rubbish in bin store Tidy, dust and wipe down surfaces in staff room Tidy, dust and wipe down surfaces in office Dust and wipe down surfaces in nursery rooms Vacuum floors and stairs, including rugs or carpets Mop floors in toilets, kitchen, reception and nursery rooms Wash any items in the wash baskets Clean nursery toilets, staff toilets and all hand basins Wipe around all surfaces in kitchen Clean the inside of the windows Keep a check on cleaning materials and re-order via the Manager or Directors Lock or unlock the building securely Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably required from time-to-time. Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise communal areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs. Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Assist with special cleaning projects as required, such as deep cleans or seasonal cleaning. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns.

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within set timeframes. Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is advantageous. A positive attitude towards work and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12.5 per week
