Nursery Cleaner

Job Description
We are seeking a cleaner for our nursery. The role includes general cleaning in a variety of rooms including bathrooms ensuring exceptionally high-quality clean spaces for our children to use. This position is for a total of 4 hours a week spread across 2 days working in the early morning before 8am or in the evening after 6pm.
Ideally you will have previous cleaning experience and experience in cleaning a childcare setting would be beneficial but not essential. All cleaning equipment and supplies will be provided.
Duties
Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, playrooms and communal spaces Dust and wipe surfaces, vacuum carpets, and mop floors to ensure cleanliness Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs Adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures. Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure consistency in service delivery Duties and responsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive or restrictive, changes and other duties relevant to this post may be added.
Experience
Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members Knowledge of cleaning processes and COSH is desirable
