Job Vacancy: Nursery Cleaner (Part-Time)

Location:

UB2 5RN

Hours:

Monday to Friday 6.30-9pm (12.5 hours weekly)

Pay:

12.30 (no cash in hand - wages paid monthly)

Start Date:

November 31st 2025
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented

Cleaner

to join our friendly nursery team to work alongside another female staff member. You will play a vital role in ensuring our nursery is kept clean, safe, and hygienic for children, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitise all areas of the nursery, including playrooms, toilets, kitchens, and communal spaces Follow cleaning schedules and health & safety guidelines Use appropriate cleaning products safely and effectively Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to the Nursery Manager

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of professional cleaning experience

(preferably in a childcare or educational setting)

Enhanced DBS check (clear and dated from 2023)

- This must be obtained before applying or be currently held*
High attention to detail and a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team
