Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our playrooms and nursery, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a high cleaning standard for both employees, service users and visitors.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. Clean and sanitise restrooms and communal areas. Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used effectively and stored properly. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve cleanliness standards.

Skills

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients professionally.
