Job Summary
Harbour View Kindergarten are looking for a dedicated and reliable nursery cleaner to join our team and play a key role in maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety.
Responsibilities
:Perform cleaning duties including hoovering, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces Clean and sanitise restrooms and communal areas Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied daily Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues promptly Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and hazards Report any damages or maintenance issues observed during cleaning routines Ensuring the nursery is locked
We're looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Able to work independently and follow instructions Honest and trustworthy Committed to maintaining a safe and clean environment for young children Experience in cleaning or working in an early years setting is desirable but not essential--training will be provided Ability to work independently Organisation skills to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks effectively
This role is ideal for motivated individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Candidates should possess good communication abilities and be comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
