We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children and staff alike. Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of all rooms Clean and sanitise restrooms, milk kitchen, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are regularly emptied and cleaned Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any damages or shortages Follow health and safety protocols at all times during cleaning activities Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including window washing or deep-cleaning projects Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily cleaning schedules

Experience

Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable Excellent customer service skills are preferred Strong communication skills are important for reporting issues and coordinating tasks efficiently

This is a day nursery setting and it requires a full clean to ensure high standards are maintained each day. The cleaning position is for a morning clean Monday to Thursday 5am-7am and Thursday evening 6:15-8:15pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
