Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of our homely nursery . This role involves ensuring that all areas are hygienic, safe, and welcoming for child , parents and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently . Previous experience in cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. . This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

The working hours are 4.30-6.30pm Monday to Friday .

Perform routine cleaning tasks including washing up, sorting washing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces across designated areas

Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in all work environments Restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues promptly Ensure all waste is disposed of responsibly and recycling procedures are followed Communicate effectively with clients and team members to meet specific cleaning requirements Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning activities Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required by management

Requirements

Enhanced DBS will be necessary along with two references.

Basic proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and clients Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and report issues clearly. Previous experience in cleaning is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Confident to secure premises.
