Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across a Day Nursery building, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children and staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and possess strong communication skills. Prior experience is not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, classrooms and communal areas Ensure waste disposal is completed efficiently and correctly Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries Assist with organising cleaning supplies and stock levels

Qualifications

Basic communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact with team members and clients Previous experience in cleaning or is advantageous but not mandatory Good organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues

Pay: 12.21-16.81 per hour
